From JFK and La Guardia:
You will want to cross the Bronx Whitestone Bridge, which is 678 North. From La Guardia, head out east on the Grand Central Parkway and follow signs for the Whitestone Bridge and 678 North, which, at this point, is called the Whitestone Expressway. From JFK, 678 North exits directly from the airport but is called the Van Wyck Expressway. After you cross the bridge, you are still on 678 North but it is now called the Hutchinson River Parkway. Around White Plains, exit onto 684 North. Take 684 North until it ends around Brewster, transforming into the smaller local Route 22. Drive aproximately thirty miles and turn right onto Route 86. Please note: Route 22 is a reasonably fast local route, but during commute hours you may experience unwanted delays at stop lights and may wish, from the end of 684 in Brewster, to take Interstate Route 84 East to the Taconic North, following the New York City directions above.

From Newark and New Jersey:
Take Interstate 78 West from the Newark Airport to the Garden State Parkway North. When the Garden State Parkway ends, follow signs for Interstate 87 North, which may be labeled the New York State Thruway and will involve heading east for about ten miles. Stay on 87 North until around Newburgh where you will exit onto Interstate 84 East, driving east over the Newburgh Beacon Bridge into Beacon. Continue east on 84 until Exit 16 where you will take the Taconic State Parkway North. Follow the New York City directions above.

From Boston and Massachusetts:
Take the Mass Pike, Interstate 90 West, just over the border into New York state. From Exit B3, get on Route 22 South. Drive south on 22 approximately forty-five miles until the stop light intersection in Amenia where you will turn right following the Route 44 West sign (22S and 44W are the same road from Millerton to Amenia). Drive aproximately 3.4 miles and turn right onto Route 86. Please note: an alternate route (90W->102->7S->44W) takes you through Great Barrington and may be faster in some cases.

From Rhinebeck, Taconic Southbound, Stanfordville and Bangall:

When 101 ends in less than a mile, turn right onto Route 9G, heading south for about a mile. Turn left onto Route 19, intially called Slate Quarry Road, later, Bulls Head Road. From the Taconic Southbond, take the Bulls Head Road exit, looping around to head east. Follow Bulls Head Road, Route 19 East, until it ends at Route 82 in Stanfordville. Turn left, heading north on Route 82. As you leave the town of Stanfordville, veer off Route 82 toward the right onto Route 65, Hunns Lake Road, passing quickly through Bangall. Take two consecutive right turns onto Route 86, Bangall-Amenia Road. Drive approximately 3.5 miles and turn right into Windrock Farm.
